A Brief History of Cornerstone

After seeking God's will and direction, a core group of families felt led by God to establish a church that would present a more contemporary and relevant worship service for the residents of Cynthiana and Harrison County.

We held our first church service on Sunday March 23, 2003 in the room above Aurora Information Systems on Joe B. Hall Court with 33 in attendance.

On April 13, 2003 we moved our service to the Harrison County Middle School.

In January of 2008, Cornerstone moved into a permanent home at 104 Court St. where we currently reside.
