OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT
(Why
we exist
as a church)
The purpose of our church
(which is based on two key scriptures) is summarized in the
following paragraph...
“Cornerstone Christian
Church exists to be a community of believers who are
committed to BUILD Gods Kingdom.
It
is our intent to reach the unchurched and
de-churched people within Cynthiana and her surrounding counties. We
strive in excellence in everything we do, desiring to demonstrate
our complete commitment to give God our very best. We strive for CCC
to be the place where our community finds acceptance, friendship, a
casual, relaxed atmosphere and ultimately the forgiveness and the
love of God through Jesus Christ, while discovering practical
answers to problems posed by today’s world. With God’s blessing we
sacrifice, labor and pray, trusting that He will work a great work
through us for His glory.”

The Great Commandment:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is
the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:
‘Love
your neighbor as yourself’ All the Law and the
Prophets hang on these two commandments.“ Matthew 22:37-40 (NIT)
The Great commission:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and
on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end
o/the age.” Matthew 28.18-20 (NIV)
